Just in case you didn't know...........The celebration of Black History Month began as “Negro History Week,” which was created in 1926 by Carter G. Woodson, a noted African American historian, scholar, educator and publisher. It became a month-long celebration in 1976.

During the spring semester, CUSD 187 has partnered with Equip for Equality, to host a series of parent workshops focused on students with disabilities -- understanding special education, support, transition services, etc.
Please note the first session is this Thursday, January 25 beginning at 5:30 pm at the Board of Education office.

Attention all parents of bus riders!!!!!! As of January 4th 2024, all Kindergarten through 2nd grade bus riders must have a parent or designee (for example grandparent, uncle, aunt, cousin, sibling, neighbor etc...) present at the bus stop to receive their student.
