The Eye Thrive Charity (vision van) has summer mobile clinics available for students who were not able to be seen at schools. They have many dates throughout the area and people can go to any event.

Please see the attached flyers regarding the Cahokia Unit School District #187 Summer Food Service Program funded by the USDA. The program will provide healthy breakfast and/or lunch meals free of charge to all children 18 years of age and under (infants cannot be served) during the summer months. Please note that meals will not be served on June 19th. The flyer includes participating locations, dates, and serving times.
We encourage families to take advantage of this opportunity to ensure children continue to receive nutritious meals throughout the summer.

Our district is participating in the annual Cities in Harmony event again this year on Saturday, April 25, 2026, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the Southwestern Illinois Justice and Workforce Development Campus, 2300 West Main Street, Belleville, IL. CUSD #187 will provide bus transportation to/from the event. This is a free family engagement event with food and lots of fun activities (bounce houses, face painting, live music, games, crafts and more)!
