Melissa Rebmann is starting her 19th year in education. Starting her educational work as a substitute teacher, she fell in love with the public school system and continued to pursue her Master’s degree in Teaching and later a Specialist degree in School Administration.
The last five years have been very formative in her growth as a leader. Mrs. Rebmann participated in the Leadership Academy in Character Education and provided a solid foundation of quality leadership in the social-emotional growth for students. It is also during this time where she was able to help lead Wirth Middle School with the implementation of Character Education and the adoption of SEL standards. In 2020, she was honored to accept the position of principal at Huffman Elementary where she hopes to inspire sustainable leadership today.
Mrs. Rebmann is a mom, wife, educational leader, and life-long learner! She is dedicated to serving the Cahokia community and working alongside parents to make all students successful!
