Huffman Elementary’s office hours are 8:00 AM–3:30 PM. Please feel free to contact our office whenever you need assistance. Our school secretary, Ms. Lyniya Pruitt, and the Huffman staff are happy to help!

Contacting Your Child’s Teacher

If you need to speak with your child’s teacher, please contact the school office. Ms. Pruitt will take a message and make sure it is shared with the appropriate teacher. Teachers will return calls and messages as soon as possible without interrupting instructional time.

Attendance

If your child will be absent or late to school, please contact the school office to let us know. Regular and on-time attendance is an important part of your child’s success.

Transportation & Dismissal Changes

If there is a change to your child’s normal transportation or dismissal plan, please contact the school office as early as possible so we can make sure the information reaches your child and their teacher before dismissal.

Early Student Checkouts

For the safety of our students and to help ensure an orderly dismissal, students will not be checked out after 2:45 PM. Parents or guardians arriving after 2:45 PM will need to wait until students are dismissed at 3:00 PM.
