I am Phyllis Slack(formerly Boyd and Jackson) and I am serving in my 30th year in Cahokia School District 187. I started in 1990 as a paraprofessional, then I was a teacher for 9 years and then an assistant principal, principal and associate principal for the past 20 years. My role is serving as the principal of the Academic and Character Development Center(ACDC). We will work with students 6th – 12th who have had an issue at Wirth or CHS and we will work with them and develop coping skills on behaving and dealing with issues in a positive manner. My educational highlight is to see the students enter ACDC and go back to Cahokia High School with a focus on graduation.

ACDC has a lot of great things going on and we appreciate any feedback that we receive from our parents, students and staff. I want you to know that we have an open-door policy and we are all striving for the same goal and that is to educate your child and help them become productive citizens in whatever community they choose!
