The Cahokia Early Childhood Program is in the beginning stages of implementing the Pyramid Model Framework for the social and emotional development of our students in the classroom. The Pyramid Model is a tool that is used to teach students social-emotional skills, such as identifying and managing feelings, and developing friendships in the classroom.

Parent cafe events: share your parenting experiences and learn more about the pyramid model

The Early Childhood Program offers several Parent Cafe events throughout the year as an opportunity for parents to learn more about practicing the Pyramid Model at home, have conversations, and share experiences. We provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for parents to support one another.
