Dear Maplewood Families,
Welcome back to an exciting 2026-2027 school year!
My name is Mrs. Kristi Schroeder, and I am delighted to return as the Principal of Maplewood School. I am looking forward to another wonderful year filled with learning, growth, and success for our students.
This year, our schoolwide focus is "Our Class Is a Family." We believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and loved each day they come to school. At Maplewood, we are committed to creating classrooms where students know they belong, build meaningful relationships, and are encouraged to do their very best. Together, we will foster a school community built on kindness, respect, teamwork, and a shared commitment to helping every child succeed.
At Maplewood, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We value our partnership with families and encourage you to volunteer, share ideas, and stay actively involved in your child's education. Working together, we can make this an incredible year for every student.
Our dedicated staff is excited to welcome our Pre-K through 2nd grade students and looks forward to helping each child reach their fullest potential.
Thank you for trusting us with your child. I look forward to seeing everyone soon and wish you a safe and successful school year!
Sincerely,
