Dear Elizabeth Morris Elementary Students and Families,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Elizabeth Morris Elementary! I hope your family had an opportunity to relax, recharge, and make special memories over the summer. We are thrilled to welcome both our returning students and families as well as those who are joining the Tiger family for the first time.

As I begin my second year as principal, I want to thank you for the trust and support you showed throughout last school year. Together, we made tremendous progress. Our students worked hard, our teachers remained committed to providing high-quality instruction, and our families partnered with us to create an environment where children could learn, grow, and succeed. I couldn't be more proud of what we accomplished together.

This year, we will continue building on that momentum. Our focus remains simple: providing every child with a safe, welcoming school where they feel valued, challenged, and supported each day. We will continue emphasizing strong instruction, positive relationships, regular attendance, and high expectations because we know these are the building blocks for student success.

To our students: We have been looking forward to seeing you again! Every new school year brings new opportunities to learn, make friends, discover your talents, and achieve goals you may not have thought possible. Come to school each day ready to learn, treat others with kindness and respect, and always remember that every adult in this building is here because we believe in you. We know you can accomplish amazing things.

To our parents and guardians: Thank you for allowing us the privilege of educating your child. You are an essential part of your child's success, and we value the partnership we share with you. Open communication between home and school is one of the most important factors in helping children thrive. If you ever have questions, concerns, or ideas, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are always here to help.

Our staff has been working hard throughout the summer preparing classrooms, planning engaging lessons, and getting everything ready to ensure your child has an outstanding school year. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back into the building.
